Last Day of May

It feels like this month has passed so quickly.  Time flies so fast anymore.  Hoping to work on some more sassy cards.  Clean finishing a card for Friday.  This weekend should be good to get some work done.

Baby Cards-baby shower and new borns

Well time to work out some new baby cards.  Need to make separate categories: elegant, fun, pretty.    Hope to come up with some ideas by tonight.

Fun Cards

This is a first-time with the ribbon threading, and the images are a black outlined image, and colored in with the copic markers.

Cuttlebug circles embossing folder, 2 ribbons, house mouse stamp, color by prisma color pencils, and bling.

Butterfly colored with copics, ribbons, felt flower, flower brad, cuttlebug circles embossing.

Fish done in copics, bling, embossing, ribbon.

Added a bit of bling.....

A quick saying a pretty ribbon and pop-up the colored images, imagine squares.

Now to work out selling them.....

Releaxing Lily's Hair

Well I broke down and went to Gene Juarez to get Lily's hair relaxed so I could run a brush through her hair.  They cut her hair without straightening and it was bad.  Then setup an appointment to get it relaxed.  I was glad someone stayed to cut her hair after it was straightened.

Frisbee Dog Park

Well we took Chulo to the Frisbee course down and I am pretty sure Lily had more fun.  Although Chulo did not want to leave when it was time to.

Lily for Crazy Hat Day

Lily came home one night and said it was crazy hat day the next day at school.  I pulled out her hat from dress up stuff.  I got some netting, and her my little ponies and went to work.  When I secured them to the hat without them falling off I thought I was in the clear. 

I added some bling and some flowers and look at the results.....

But, when little 7 year old girls go out to recess what better thing to play with than my little ponies.  And the hat was pulled apart!

Memorial Weekend

Have had a quiet leisure weekend.  Worked on some copic coloring of Sassy Studio Design images. Did some flower arrangements for my mom.  Sprayed the roses with insect and disease killer.  Gave Chulo his summer haircut, putting off clipping his nails.  Lily had fun running around playing with Tiffers.

Card Making with Scrappy Designs

Joined a new site called Sassy Studio Designs at : http://www.sassystudiodesigns.blogspot.com/
where the images are cute.  The are fun to color with my copics and they have weekly challanges.  Friday I looked for the new challange this week and found out that I won last weeks challange, "Airforce Honey".  Used: Stand and Salute cricut cartridge, airforce honey image, copics, various papers, a little bling.

I was able to get my two new images from my win from their site and then download this weeks challange image.  Here was my posting for  "Sandra's Graduation". ... Lily is coloring these images along with me.  I have to keep telling her not to get the black printer ink in the light copics.  My poor markers don't stand a chance; goodthing copics sell new nibs for them.  I might want to invest.

Isn't she cute?  Used:  "Sandra's Graduation" image, bling, Black and white cricut cartridge, copics, flowers, ribbon, string, irridescent paper.  I need to find a better printer and better quality of paper.

Then, I started my new image of "Steampunk Victoria"...

My first attempts...Used: bling, copics, metal from Tim Holtz, vintage photo ink, moonlight white ink, stamp, watch parts, clock parts, brads, bling, chipboard, flowers, Tim Holtz tissue tape, acrylic, glue.  Imagine and cricut cartridges: baby boutique, bucaneer, vintage papers.

It will be fun to see my cards with these images as time progresses.
